McCrae Lake Paddling

McCrae Lake is fully located within a conservation reserve making it a perfect place for a quiet getaway without needing to worry about motor boat traffic.

There is a free public parking lot but it gets very busy in the summer so make sure to arrive early. There are no-parking signs along the road and Port Severn will ticket and tow any cars that aren't in the designated parking lot.

McCrae Lake Camping

There are dozens of backcountry campsites to choose from along the shore of McCrae Lake. There is no reservation system and all campsites are first-come first-served so it's best to find a site early in the day. As this is a conservation reserve, please camp in designated sites only and always follow Leave No Trace principles.
