Haliburton Highlands

Haliburton Highlands Paddling

Sitting just south of Algonquin, The Haliburton Highlands area contains many of the features that makes the provincial park a paddler's dream. This network of 60+ lakes contains sandy beaches, granite cliffs, and stands of old growth forest. The 11 different access points offer endless options for day paddlers and overnight campers. While the lakes with direct boat launch access can get busy with motor boat traffic in the high season, the interior lakes stay quiet all summer.
