Deerock Lake Paddling
Deerock Lake is mostly located within the Elzevir Peatlands Conservation Reserve, one of the largest peatlands in Southern Ontario. The shoreline contains wetlands and outcroppings of canadian shield with many island dotting the lake. This lake is open to motor boats which can take away from it's wilderness feel during busy summer weekends.

Deerock Lake Camping
Camping is only permitted in one of the 26 designated campsites along the shores of Deerock Lake. There is no reservation system and all campsites are first-come first-served so it's best to find a site early in the day. The campsites are not maintained so everything must be packed in and out, and as always, follow Leave No Trace principles.
