Big East Lake

Big East Lake Paddling

Big East Lake is part of the Poker Lakes area of the Haliburton Highlands Water Trails system and is linked with portages to Bentshoe Lakes, Crane Lakes, Poker Lake, and Cinder Lake to the north. It's generally a very quiet area to paddle with very little motor boat traffic. There are picnic sites on most of the lakes that are great destinations for day trips.

There is a free public parking lot on the south side of highway 118 with an outhouse and a pull off on the north side for launching boats.
